I have been told you can but i dont know how i have also been told that it depends on the firmware i am using, i am currently on 1.7 and my brother is on 1.8 any ideas
Can you play games on your psp from memory cards?
U nid a 1.5, 2.71 se-a/b/c or 3.02 oe-a/b psp in order to play homebrews also known as ISO/CSO/DAX. First u download the homebrew from any site den u create a folder " ISO" in your memory stick root, put the download games into the "iso" folder and play straight from psp if u hav 2.71 se-a/b/c or 3.02 oe-a/b psp without the nid of a UMD while if u hav a 1.5 psp u nid devhook to load the downloaded games and for some games u nid a UMD in the psp to load. But sad to say this is ILLEGAL so try at ur own risk and there is a possiblity of ur PSP bricking. thxs
Reply:The only way to play homebrews or "legaly" extracted roms (do not download, it's illegal ;) is by downgrading your firmware to version 1,5. in the net there are a lot of pages that explain the process.
Reply:I've connected to the internet via wireless and downloaded demos of games to the memory card. These then run straight from the memory card. Not used full versions of games in this way but I'm told it's possible. It's also possible to copy whole movies to the memory card (space permitting) and then watch the film from memory rather than UMD.
Hope that helps.
P.S. Not sure about firmware problems. Can't help with that.
Reply:no soz
Reply:it is possible to put full psp games onto ones memory card, i believe they are called ISO's. a low firmware is required, perhaps the use of devhook. this is however illegal and shouldn't be done.
Reply:You have the option of using loaders which can be found at my source url.
Cheers.
