Can PSP's use regular memory cards or just memory sticks?

I am thinking of getting a PSP and I basically want to get it for multi media, but memory sticks are expensive. I Know that memory cards are much cheaper, but im not sure if regular memory cards work on a PSP so can someone tell me, Can PSP's use regular memory cards or just memory sticks?

Psp is only compatible with memory stick duo. And you wrong, memory is dead cheap. Memory sticks are the cheapest if fact because sony recently came out with an 8GB memory stick that now sells for about $170. The last guy is somewhat right, you can get a 2GB for $70 and 1GB is less. If you want to shop online and want the most bang for your buck check this, 4GB for $72

Reply:Only memory sticks pro duo work there shaped like a rectangle with one curbed egde most of the sony cameras work with the psp and you can go to wal mart and buy a I gigabyte memory stick for 30 bucks and thas enough for 240 songs or an avreage movie
Reply:They can only use memory sticks. You can buy a 1 GB memory stick for only ~$60 now at Wal-Mart even, which is a great investment.
Reply:For short

Memory cards wont fit inside the psp's memroy slot because it is to big, the memory stick is the only one that fits inside it.
