Do add on graphic cards take memory away from the computer?

My computer came with 3g of ram and I am running Vista home. I am going to add a PCIe-16 graphics card but I want to know if I get a card with 512m will it take 512 from my computer or will it add 512 basically to the computer?

Do add on graphic cards take memory away from the computer?
No
Reply:no, it wont take away from your computer...but any graphics that needs to be processed will be sped up basically to just lower your loading times and stuff....releasing a bit from your processor...but not your memory
Reply:Not at all.. It even frees up your memory. All the graphics processing will done in the memory of your graphics card. So you will have full utilization of your 3GB RAM. But graphics memory is not shared for the tasks other than the graphics processing.
Reply:No, it will not use any appreciable memory (RAM).

Graphics memory can be 'shared' (meaning a graphics chip on the motherboard) or independent of your on-board ram. If you currently don't have a separate video card, then your computer is using part of the 3GB for video processing. Once you add the video card the computer will exclusively use the video memory in the card, thereby freeing up the RAM that was used when you did not have the card.
Reply:If you add any graphics card PCI/AGP/PCIe it will use its own memory of how much the card is 128/256/512/640/768/1gb and leave the computer memory alone. Only onboard (video on the motherboard) uses the computers memory instead. Yes but 512mb will be the highest you can use. XP/Vista 32bit OS will only see and use 3.5gb of TOTAL Memory 3gb + 512mb video. Lets say you have 3gb memory then add a 1gb video card then you will lose 512mb on the computer so it will only use 2.5gb of the memory and 1gb for the video card. Thanks
Reply:No, only onboard video cards take from system RAM. Your 512 card will use its 512, none of yours. And your computer cannot use its. The two rams are totally independent of each other
Reply:The card will use it's own memory and CPU so, it will not take away 512MB of ram from your computer.

One thing that will take memory from your computer is the drivers/software for that video card.
Reply:Could u input the model number of the graphics card?.. its a PCIe-16 so its most likely not a graphics card with shared memory..

The graphics card with 512MB uses the memory for its own usage.. It does not add or remove RAM from the computer.. Unless as i have stated above .. it uses shared memory which is very very very unlikely..

Anyone know good web-site to learn memory-storage cards for cameras?

I know quite a lot about film speeds from say 25 ASA to say 600 ASA and how to use on 35mm SLR'S. Thse cards are a new ball game which I'm finding hard to grasp.

Anyone know good web-site to learn memory-storage cards for cameras?
You can Google them or go directly to the manufacturer's site. Biggest names are Sandisk, Lexar, Transcend, etc. As in film, you have differences in capacity and in speed.

Capacity - the larger (2, 4, 8, 12, and 16 GB) allow you use your camera's highest quality setting and put lots of them on the card before it fills up. You then copy to your computer and start over again. Compact Flash cards currently have the largest and fastest capabilities.

Speed - most manufacturer's measure and promote things like 133x, 80x, 150x. More important is the read and write speed. The faster you camera can transfer the data to the card, the quicker you can take the next photo. The best Sandisk currently being sold is the Extreme III, which has a 20MB per second transfer rate. Their new Extreme IV is just hitting the market and very scarce. It has a 40MBS transfer rate. Pretty damn impressive.

Can you use regular SD memory cards on the Wii instead of the official Wii memory card?

yup, the only difference is the sd wii memory cards cost more because they're white and say wii on them.

Can you use regular SD memory cards on the Wii instead of the official Wii memory card?
Yes you can, but you don't have to have a memmory card to save games. The Wii comes with a 512 internal harddrive. The games are also alot smaller when you save so you should have plenty of space. You may want SD memmory card if you want to take the game to your friends house though. You may also want a regular gamecube memmory card becouse im not sure if gamecube games can save on sd memmory cards.
Reply:Yes, you can--but keep in mind that the SD Card slot on the Wii is not designed for Mini-SD cards. For that, you'll need an adapter...but it'll work, no worries. Hope this helps, good luck!

Question about SD Memory Cards / Digital Camera . . .?

I am planning a trip in a couple of weeks and will be taking a whole lot of photos.

I have a 512MB SD Memory Card in my camera and I never take it out. I always just download to the computer and let the computer delete the files on the card or I delete them manually.

Here's the question: I want to pick up another 512 card and switch out the used card (when it's full) for the unused card at some point.

Is it dangerous to remove the card while it still has photos on it that I have not yet downloaded to my computer? In other words, if I remove the card, do I risk losing what is saved on it? I still have the little plastic case to store it in.

I'm just not that experienced and thought someone might have some insight.

I'd really appreciate any good advice I can get. Thanks!

Question about SD Memory Cards / Digital Camera . . .?
It is safe to remove. For added protection, please lock the card by turning the switch up on the left-hand side of the sd card. Enjoy taking those pictures!
Reply:You can remove the card with out any problem and put in the new card. You might want to consider purchasing a card with higher capacity, 1Gb or 2Gb. Prices for those have really come down quite a lot and you can keep the smaller 512Mb card as an emergency spare.

Check out google products or tigerdirect.com
Reply:no, it's not dangerous...I do it daily. I have a Fuji A820 point and shoot digital and a Nikon D40, both with SD chips.
Reply:you will be perfectly ok to take it out.. if you feel iffy about it.. you can always lock the memory card, there is a very small switch on the side of the memory card .. and yes, i recommend buying a bigger memory card.. they are very innexpensive now.. you can usually get a gig of memory for about 30 dollars or so..
Reply:No it is safe to take it out just make sure it doesn't get damaged.

Memory cards CF I, II or SD, SDHC - what is the difference?

One is used in Canon and the other one in Nicon SLR camera. Which memory card is better?? Why???

Memory cards CF I, II or SD, SDHC - what is the difference?
CF and SD are different sizes. CFII is a more recent and superior version of CFI, and SDHC merely means "high capacity SD".

CF, while significantly larger in physical size, is superior in speed, and definitely preferred if you're shooting a lot of images in sequence.
Reply:They all serve the same purpose. But there are different sizes for each kind of memory card. But SDHC is Secure Digital High Capacity which, means the storage is much higher.

How much should i sell my psp, games, movie, and memory cards for?

the games are MLB and NBA Live '06, the Movie is XXX, and a 1gb and 2gb memory card. the psp is in great condition

How much should i sell my psp, games, movie, and memory cards for?
alright the memory cards are good $$$ so lets see

i'd say about-

100 for PSP (since used) NBA and MLB- 55$ (i'm saying used)

Movie (10$) memory cards (80$)

So around 250 ish
Reply:New ones w/o anything go for $169, so if ur selling it on eBay, a good starting bid should be around $100.
Reply:a microwave
Reply:dunno, but to find out you should look on ebay for similar bundles of items and see what they sold for. try searching for items that have already been sold.
Reply:games movies like ten dollars i guess well it depends on the condision memory card more expensive
Reply:Hey ! Why do ya need to sell that !!! I keep it as a treasure !!! I have a 4GB card ! I think PSP is more better than a mobile phone !
Reply:In my opinion, I think you shouldn't sell it on your block or something, sell it on Ebay. People will do anything on Ebay! Even if you said that a grilled cheese sandwich had a picture of someone on it for 50 grand! The funny part is... that happend before! I would say for everything, about $200.00 - $300.00. Personally, I have a PSP and I'm thinking about selling it on Ebay, too. I would go for 300 bucks because of the memory. Don't worry, you'll get money! People are CRAZY on Ebay!!!

Are all SD digital camera memory cards the same size?

I have an old digital camera, and it uses bigger cards. The new camera I bought has the same size cards as the digital video camaera I have... are all cameras using these newer smaller cards now? I'm trying to buy some additional cards on ebay but I don't want to accidentally buy the wrong size!

Are all SD digital camera memory cards the same size?
There are a lot of different types of memory cards out there. SD memory cards are all the same size. If your camera uses a different size, then it is not an SD card.

If your camera says that it uses SD memory, then you are safe to buy more. Just be careful that it is "SD" and not some other kind of memory card.
Reply:SD cards are all the same size in length and width, but the memory size is the thing that varies greatly. so, no worries with your search. vote me best answer! :)
Reply:The SD (secure digital) card used in kodaks and hp cameras right now are all the same size. Don't get confused with the mini SD card for cell phones... Older cameras used MMC (MultiMedia) cards. Other cards XD, Memory stick, smart media, and compact flash.

XD memory cards, is there a difference between "M" and unlabeled xD olympus cards?

I have an Olympus digital camera and I am looking to upgrade from a 64MB xD picture card to a 1 or 2 GB. My card just says:

OLYMPUS

xD

xD-Picture Card

64MB

But the ones on eBay say:

OLYMPUS

xD

xD-Picture Card

M1GB (or M2GB)

What is this Type-M, and what are the other types, if any?

XD memory cards, is there a difference between "M" and unlabeled xD olympus cards?
There three types of xD Cards... made by olympus

1 - xD card - First model supports upto only 512MB capacity

2 - xD card Type M - released in feb 2005 type M - supports max of 8 GB (Theortically) but only 2GB available....suffers from slower Read/Write speeds...

3 - xD Card type H - released in Nov 2005 Supports upto 2 GB and 3 times faster than type M and Special effects....both speeds of transfer and special effects such as panning should be supported feature in your camera.

Before buying it's worth check the manual of your camer if it supports 1 or 2 GB cards.....

Hopefully this helps...

I am still hearing that fake cards are still being sold. EBay is doing a lot to solve this problem, but until they do, you may want to buy your cards from an electronics store.

Where do i find out the maximum capacity memory card for my digicam, that wont take SD HC cards?

My cam is a Panasonic Lumix DMC - LC50

Thanks.xs

Where do i find out the maximum capacity memory card for my digicam, that wont take SD HC cards?
The maximum capacity of an SD-only camera is 2 GB.

Anything above 2 GB would be SDHC, which you have said your camera won't take.

Why are xD memory cards so expensive compared to SD and other memory cards?

All but three compact digital cameras use SD memory cards as do other devices like Palm Pilots, etc.

Two cameras (Olympus and some Fujifilm) use xD cards (and they are not top sellers)

Only one camera used the Memory Stick, Sony.

With such a large volume of SD cards are being made, the costs of course drop.

CF cards are what the pro cameras use (and we use a lot of them) cost just about as much as SD's

Why are xD memory cards so expensive compared to SD and other memory cards?
You can do panoramic pictures with XD Cards
Reply:They are different kinds of memory card. Look different, smaller, bigger, etc.

Can I trust the Treo 700wx memory expansion cards on ebay?

I see the expansion cards on Ebay for a treo 700wx, but I am worried about compatibility issues. The price is good but I want to get the biggest one I can (probably 4GB), and I would rather step up a few bucks instead of getting something unreliable because it's cheap.

Are these cards for sale reliable? Is there a way I can confirm compatibility before purchasing?

Can I trust the Treo 700wx memory expansion cards on ebay?
There are a lot of 'fake' cards for sale - and sadly ebay seems to be a major source of these. I'd rather pay a little more - and get them from a 'reputable' supplier like Amazon or Adorama.

What memory cards do you need for the Panasonic TZ3 7MP Digital Camera and is the camra any good?

I have had one of these for 4 months now and think it is fantastic. After carrying round bags of lenses and god knows what else, I now have something that Willl do most things and will fit in my shirt pocket. The photo's are beautifully clear with good colour representation. They are however a little large due to the 7.2 MP, if you intend on e-mailing any you wil need to compress them somewhat, I can get 2 per mail through my Tiscali mailing system. Another plus point is the fact that the lens goes down to a 135mm equivalent of 28mm, whereas most digitals only go as low as 35 or so, this makes big difference on scenic photography, or groups, weddings for example.

As for cards, I took it to France recently and took 600 photo,s and my 2Gb card was not full. Batteries are a different matter, I read in reviews on this camera that it was possible to get 250ish photo's from a battery charge. I feel they must have been using a low resolution to achieve this, I think 125 is about right and recommend a backup battery (£12 to 15 ish), then you should not run out during a normal days shooting.

Have fun

Panasonic's are a sleeper. They have partnered with Leica (note the Leica 12x zoom lens) on their digital cameras, so they have a lot of quality engineered into them.

I have two extra fujifilm XD memory cards?

What's the best thing to do with them? I can't sell them on ebay.

I have two extra fujifilm XD memory cards?
Thats not much memory, you can save documents and notes but not too many images.

If you want you can buy a USB Adapter and use those cards as portable storage devices.

See link below for a sample USB Adapter...
Reply:how big are they?

Oh, well, that really isnt much memory. You cant get more than a couple bucks for them. Just keep them for backup. Or buy an XD USB adapter (about 9-12 dollars) this way you can use them as a thumb drive to store word documents.
Reply:Use them as backup memory when you are out shooting. You never know when you may need them.
Reply:Do the same thing I do with extra memory cards. Use them to upload pictures you want to share. Just copy the photos from your computer to the small cards, and then you can pass them on or loan them to friends.

Another thought: Use them when you have a specific event that you want to keep separate from the others on your larger memory cards. If I know that I'm only going to be taking a very few photos (and those times are rare) I might bring the older, smaller cards along. Of course, I also bring the larger capacity cards, in case I discover that it's an even that will require many photos.

I hope this is helpful for you.
Reply:Use them as decorative ornaments by gluing them on the rear view mirror of you car.

What's the difference in SD memory cards? Are there better or worse ones to get?

What brands and kinds should i use? I'm obviously not a pro, but i bought a nice digital SLR and would like to learn how to use it to its potential. thanks.

What's the difference in SD memory cards? Are there better or worse ones to get?
I've used Fujifilm and SanDisk cards in several cameras over the past 4 years without problems. SanDisk is often "on-sale" locally, which is why I bought more of them.

Kodak has the better warrenty on their SD cards, but tend to be quite a bit more expensive. I dunno if a big warranty is worth it - I've never had a card fail in 4 years. Ask yourself what are the chance that you'll keep your existing camera for four years, and buy a new one using the same card ?
Reply:I now have a bad experience with Kingston SD Card- Elite Pro 256 Mb. My other cards are Kodak 1 GB and Lexer 128 Mb, and are working just fine. I used the late Canon S3 IS when the Kingston malfunctioned. Report Abuse

Reply:I take or try to take very good photos using good techniques, and am just frustrated to know, after making different methods to recover my files, that my photos are emtirely unrecoverable. One thumbs down for Kindston. Report Abuse

Reply:They're all pretty reliable but there are differences in speed. The SanDisk Extreme is very fast if you want to fork out the extra cash. And, of course, if your camera is fast enough to take advantage of the extra performance.
Reply:SD memory cards are really good... ive taken up to 300pics with a 120mb card... the smaller the mb... the less pics u can take... the more mb or gb... the better... since u can take alot of pics... but it also depends on ur camera's capacity...

I have a question about the 8 MB memory cards for the Playstation 2 game systems.?

We have the first Tony Hawk Pro Skater game and we've tried saving a game but with no success. We see that the game requires 1 block of memory. I figuring that 8MB is not large enough for the game. And that 1 block is too much for the memory card. Is that so or what? Somebody please give me some feedback. Thank-you so very much.

I have a question about the 8 MB memory cards for the Playstation 2 game systems.?
The FIRST Tony Hawk-PS was made for the Playstation 1. Playstation 1 memory is only compatible with Playstation 1 systems. You should be able to find a classic memory card for cheap some where online.

I'm not sure where.

Try looking into geting some PS2 games for your memory card. Also i'd say the PS2 8MB card holds about ten games of varing size uses.
Reply:If the tony hawk game you have is a playstation game not ps2 game

then you need a regular playstation memory card for ps (1) or if it is a ps2 game then use a sony brand ps2 card. Ps2 cards for ps2 games, ps (1) cards for ps (1) games. All can be used on playstation 2 systems.
Reply:You need a regular playstation card, not a new one. The old ones used on the regular playstation.
Reply:You can play PlayStation 1 games but you can't save them on a 2 system

How much do you think I will get for my PS2 with 6 games 2 memory cards and 2 controllers?

Also what store can I buy a PS3 with a discount because i gave in a PS2

How much do you think I will get for my PS2 with 6 games 2 memory cards and 2 controllers?
Call the closest game trade (like EB Games, or Gamestop) and ask for an estimate.

New PS2s (Slimline models) go for slightly more than the older models, but don't expect to get more than $40 or so in trade for it. If the controllers are dual shock 2s in good condition, and aren't 3rd party (MadCatz or whatever) you'll probably get, as the other poster said, about $5. As for games, you're looking at 20 cents, to 10 dollars (USD) for games, with most games being worth less than two dollars trade. Sports games are worth next to nothing, as demand dries up when the next installment comes out. It is very rare to have a game be worth more than $5 trade unless it is very new. Games that have sequels will also be worth considerably less. If you have smaller game stores in your area, (ie: Not Ebgames/Gamestop) you'll likely get a much better trade in, although those places are much less likely to have PS3s in stock. All in all, to get the absolute most out of your PS2, you'd be better off selling it through classified ads, or putting up fliers at your school/college/work.

That being said.

If you want a place who will definately take your stuff and give you credit toward a ps3, go to a big chain, like EB Games/Gamestop.

If you want a place that will give you slightly more, but may not have a PS3 in stock. (You may have to take cash, or use credit on PS3 games/controllers) Go to a small "mom and pop" game store.

If you want to get the most out of your games and system, try to sell them to a private party. It will take longer, but you'll get substantially more for it.
Reply:i dont know what store you can buy a ps3 for a discount if its a discount it will only put out 50-70 bucks nothing special, but the Ps2 thing probrably 200 bucks with the memory card controlers and the 6 games depends what year they're from if they're older its gonna be cheaper if they're new they gonna be more expensive 50 bucks maximum.
Reply:Depends on what the games are. If they're all sports and nothing popular then probably only 20 dollars or less. For the ps2 maybe 40 dollars and the controllers 5 dollars a piece. Memory cards 2 dollars a piece. Check your local pawn shop for a discount ps3.

How much can I get for my ps2 with 3 8Mb memory cards ,2 dualshock 2 controllers, and 21 games?

how about the condition of the games, controllers, etc. but if there all in excellent condition you could probably get about 300+.

How much can I get for my ps2 with 3 8Mb memory cards ,2 dualshock 2 controllers, and 21 games?
Well the ps2 depends if you have a flat or old one, the memory card about 5 bucks if they're is not data left on it, the controllers 8 or 9 dollars, and the games depend on how old they are and if they're what people like playing now htese days.

How can i make my graphics cards video memory bigger???

I have halo 2 and i need a biger vidio memory. it says i have 64 MB and i need 128MB and the direct x diag tool says i have 251 MB avalable

Also is there a way i can get my vista graphis score up without buying a new card

How can i make my graphics cards video memory bigger???
yes but you will have to sacrifice performance for better graphics, which is not what you want to do condisering you will be playing a game, . more ram would help you if your system will hold more
Reply:I do not believe that there is any way of increasing the memory of your graphics card. You should be okay if the Direct X is saying you have 200MB+ of memory on it. If not, 128MB graphics cards can be found for very cheap.

Can I use something besides Kodak? I'm also looking for something under the $30 price range.

What memory cards are needed for Kodak's Easy Share M853?
A 2 gigabyte SD card may be somewhat of an overkill since that's about 635 hi-quality, low compression pictures. A 1-gig card is more practical and usable and you can break up a set of two cards in order to allow prints to be generated while another card is in place in the camera. One gig cards are on sale for $10.00 at samys.com.

The only accessory that you need to consider buying is just another controller. That's it.

If you get at least the premium or Elite, then you don't need to worry about memory cards. If you buy the arcade, well, don't. The arcade is a piece of crap. All you get is 256 mb of memory, which isn't all that much when it comes to saving games.

You don't need to get the Wi-Fi adapter if you don't mind using an ethernet cable. If you must have Wi-Fi, then you need to get the Wi-Fi adapter.

The MDA phone works with most 1gb or 2gb mini sd cards. As a matter of fact, anything i tried works with MDA. I bought NCP 2gb card from ebay under $30. This is no name card, but it works perfectly with MDA. Any sandisk card would be fine too, but they are much more expensive than generic ones. Don't go for high speed one like 120 or 150, since this is a little risky. Also, stay away from 4gb. Any other 1gb or gb mini sd should be fine!

Depends on which phone you have. My wife has the RAZR V3m and it accepts up to 1GB of memory via microSD card. I have a Motorola V325 and it doesn't accept external memory.
Reply:The one that I have doesn't. Mine is an LG. What it does is it takes memory off the computer though the USB connection, or stores pictures from a built in camera, or of from what I call wireless shop which you can shop for backgrounds or ring tones + more.

Hate to brake it to ya, but from what I know, ya can't get your pictures back. I've been in your situation. Try going to a local VERIZON WIRELESS store near you for help.

Good Luck!

I want to play some of my old ps1 games, but i dont have the ps1 memory card. I wanted to know if any stores still sell them if not where can i order it online.

Do retail stores still sell ps1 memory cards?
Some do. I know that target still sell them, but Game Stop stopped selling those awhile ago.

Do the original Xbox memory cards work for the 360?

If they don't, how do I transfer my game saves and music from one console to the other.

Do the original Xbox memory cards work for the 360?
No they dont. The 360 utilizes USB ports as outlets for the controllers. You can link them to your PC and download music, or it will allow you to rip CD's, even if they are burned. That was something you couldn't do on the original xbox. As far as saved games go, you're at a loss as far as I know. I haven't heard of anything to transfer that.

They're very reliable and have great pricing. I got a 1GB SD card for $14 after the rebate!

Can you tell me where I can get cheap memory cards for my camcorder?
You didn't say what camcorder. Sony is expensive. Right now Wal-Mart has SD cards for under $20 for a 1 GB with no rebate needed or a 512 card for $13

Are there any Wii memory cards?

I;m not lokking for the SD cards. I'm looking for the ones that store game memory like the gamecube expet it's for wii. Please answer and thank you!

Are there any Wii memory cards?
The Wii doesn't require memory cards like the systems of old. It has built in memory that stores all game saves.

You can purchase SD cards (any brand essentially, 2 GB and under) to transfer saved data to, but as far as I know you can't save a game directly to them from ingame.

You can also plug in Gamecube memory cards, but they are only necessary for saving data when you're playing Gamecube games.
Reply:As of now, there aren't any. The SD card compatibility was meant to replace that.
Reply:Sorry, those don't exist. You need an SD card.
Reply:yes there is they dont cost much aswell

Can two slots for DDR2 SDRAM computer memory take asymmetrical memory cards?

I want to upgrade from 1 DIMM of 512MB. Can I buy a new 1GB card to use with my original 512MB for more total memory than if I used 2 512MB DIMMs?

Can two slots for DDR2 SDRAM computer memory take asymmetrical memory cards?
Yes you can. DDR2 does not need to be installed in matching pairs
Reply:that's no problem, but keep in mind that the difference should not be more than a factor of 2.

Can you install 2 video cards and use both there video RAM to get more video memory?

Basically I want to connect 2 video cards to get more memory to run games better.

I bought a computer for 20 bucks that was better than my old computer and just needed a hard drive. So I took my old hard drive out and put it in there. I also had a Radeon 9200 128MB in my old computer, which was better than the 64MB Radeon 7500 in the one i bought.

So it came to my mind that maybe i can use a dual video card setup, not to have 2 monitors with the same display, but to use both there video RAM to have, in this case, 192MB of total video RAM. What do you guys think?

Can you install 2 video cards and use both there video RAM to get more video memory?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scalable_Li...

Yes you can if you have the right ones and the right system board.
Reply:IF your motherboard will support 2 cards. Check that out before you buy. Some do, most don't.
Reply:No, you can't.

The other people's posts are misleading.

Motherboard that support Crossfire and SLI costs at least 200$. I'm quite sure the motherboar you have right now doesn't have that.

Also the Radeon 9250 is an AGP video card. There are no AGP slots that are SLI or Crossfire capable.

Also, you need to have the SAME video card in order to use SLI/Crossfire. Using different brands will not work.

Besides, how can you put the two video cards and you can't even plug both of them in the same computer?
Reply:Not possible. Those graphics cards work independently. Dual video cards are only possible with something similar to SLI which connects two identical cards (for nVidia graphics cards).
Reply:To add to what others have said, you can also run two ATI video cards, if supported by your motherboard. ATI refers to it as Crossfire. It is similar to Nvidia's SLI.

This is usually only possible in newer motherboards with the proper BIOS and hardware. Chances are your $20 board doesn't support either.

You get what you pay for.
Reply:see if it has SLi interface. then you can connect them together. old pcs dont really have sli compatible parts so youd have to buy like...60 bucks worth of parts. just build a new one if u can
Reply:The only games you will run better with a $20 computer and 2 Radeon video cards 64mb or 128mb, are Hearts and Solitare.
Reply:as far as i know you cannot use two video cards at the same time. you just have to choose which one you're gonna use. if you put in an agp video card (assuming you're using its built in video card), the computer will automatically disable the built-in video card %26amp; use your agp. if you you're using agp %26amp; you plan on using the pci-e slot the computer won't even start up coz of the conflict between the two video cards.
Reply:In order to set it up the way you describe, you will need a new motherboard which supports the SLS configuration. These Motherboards are set up specifically to do this. You will also need SLS compatible video cards as well. I know the old Voodoo cards had a way to piggy back each other for a similar result but I am not familiar with any video cards that are like this anymore.

Yes I have bought used memory cards at GameStop (when they were EB Games) and they work just fine in my Game Cube.

Know nothing about the Wii stuff but I heard you can play game cube games on the Wii I would ask the guy at Game Stop they know their stuff over there.

I can use the USB hub n my notebok for memory cards but it won't work with usb Bluetooth/wireless card why?
Some devices won't work throuh a wireless, bluetooth or USB hub. Others do. You can only try it to find out.

If you have USB 2.0, make sure that you get a USB 2.0 hub.
Reply:Will the Bluetooth device work when plugged directly to the laptop's USB port? If so, repeat the Bluetooth driver installation with the setup exactly as you want it (through the hub). That worked? Great, but read on to understand why - and contribute to better software.

Some USB driver software is "dumb" enough to be fooled when you move the device to another USB location. If installation through the hub now works, hope the folks who sold you that Bluetooth driver have an update by now, that is "smarter". Otherwise you'll have to plug in everything "just so" (and perhaps even in the same order) before the Bluetooth will work again, because USB ports are assigned dynamically.

I get so frustrated with poor-quality Windows software, preferring Linux, which just works. If open source software DOESN'T work, those with talent can download the source, program the solution, and share the improvement back to the community. Those without the skill to program can contact the developer(s) directly - and be appreciated for making the bug report.

If Windows worked that way, it could - after a lot of agony - become great too.

Good luck!

My computer wont't read one of my SD memory cards can I do somethign about it ?

I have a SD memory card that my computer cant read Im guessing its the card and not my computer since it will read another SD card I have , There just used to save pictures from my digital camera. Is there anything i can do to get this SD card working ?

My computer wont't read one of my SD memory cards can I do somethign about it ?
The card might not be properly formatted. Are you using mac or windows? I would suggest first using your digital camera's formatting tool (usually in the menu) to perform a format on the memory card and then see if windows will recognize the card. If it still does not recognize the card (but recognizes another card) then you may have a bad card on your hands.

How much should I sell my used PSP, 3 games, 2 memory cards and a charger for?

I'd say around $280-$300

Dont go to Gamestop or EB Games...they will probably only give you around $150.

Whats the difference between H type and M type xd memory cards for a digital camera please?

my new olympus digital camera 5million pxls may take either card, what do you reccomend and why, thankyou

Whats the difference between H type and M type xd memory cards for a digital camera please?
According to the Olympus website...the H type card is faster, with write speeds of up to 2x to 3x faster than previous xD cards. So, I would probably buy the H type.

Check out the Olympus link below that tells you about each type...
Reply:M = medium speed and H = high speed.

If you do continuous shooting or you bracket a lot, then you might want to consider the faster card. If you take mostly landscapes etc, then the faster card won't really matter a lot.

Your game progress is saved to the drive within the Wii, it has a certain amount of blocks in which to store game save files.

There is a slot for an SD card to go into, maybe that would work?
Reply:There's no Wii-specific memory card. The SD card is currently the only external storage device available for the Wii. Wii stuff cannot be saved to Gamecube memory cards.
Reply:there is but it is the same as a SD card. The Wii memory card is way more expensive for no reason. Just buy an SD card. You may have to format the SD card though.

Use those to save Gamecube games.

To save Wii games, either save them on your Wii's hard drive or to the SD card (like a camera memory card); Wiis don't use Gamecube-style memory cards, they use camera-like memory cards.
Reply:the memory for the Wii is internal. you can insert an SD card and you can insert a gamecube memory card for when you play gamecube games on it. but save data is internal on the wii it has a hard drive, almost like the xbox 360 or playstation 3

I need to transfer pics on my computer to memory cards but it will only allow a few and then stops.?

I have 400 pics to transfer to a 512 mb SD. It stops at about 130-160. i've tried several times and I know I have plenty of space but it always stops and gives me an error. I reconfigured but that has not helped.

I need to transfer pics on my computer to memory cards but it will only allow a few and then stops.?
You may need to have more than one folder to store them since a folder on some memory cards can only store so many pictures. I know my camera adds folders as it needs to. I think it's because some camera's use DOS as their operating system, but that's more of a guess.

It's worth a try anyway. Add some folders, then copy about a 100 pictures to each folder.
Reply:How do you know you have plenty of space? Go to My Computer, click on the SD and the select Properties. It will show you how much empty space you have.

400 pics sounds about the max for a 512 Mb SD if they are between 3 and 4 mega pixels.

Also, there may be something wrong with your SD. Have you tried another one?
Reply:I would try formatting the SD card then try again. Just to double check your space. I would put all the pics into (1) folder. Then right click and check properties.

I hope this helps!

Sd or mmc memory cards what is the difference?

im thinking of purchasing Kodak 8 MP EasyShare V803 Digital Camera w/3x Optical Zoom %26amp; Image Stabilization, Red Shimmer

but it doesnt come with memory card and u can buy either or what is the difference.

Sd or mmc memory cards what is the difference?
MMC (MultiMedia Cards) were the predecessor to SD cards, but are not very widely manufactured or used in many modern cameras. SD cards are what you'll want to get, they are very widely available in many sizes and speeds from many different manufacturers.

I've included a link to a page with SD cards (Link 1) at good prices. Your 8MP camera at full resolution will shoot about 317 pictures on a 1GB card (Link 2), so I might suggest getting one or two 1GB cards like the ones in Link 3.

Hope this helps!
Reply:the sd card is better quality
Reply:They are different types of memory cards. I guess they made it work with either one. They probably wanted to capture customers who may have had one or the other memory card for their older camera.

It doesn't really matter which one you get.
Reply:Fundamentally there is no difference. All memory cards have pretty well the same circuits and within a class perform pretty well the same way.

The major difference is in how they're shaped so clearly you need to select one that fits in the socket of your camera. There is a major difference for some, some only work in a single brand of camera, like the memory stick only works in Sony cameras.

And there is one other difference, some are becoming industry standards while others are relegated to one or two specific brands of camera.

If the camera you want gives you a choice, I'd go with the Secure Digital. That format along with the Compact Flash are pretty well the standards now for cameras and you'll likely find that more and more manufacturers, even those with proprietary cards will start to manufacture cameras that take one of those two.

And why should you care? Because if you have an industry standard card you can choose from a lot of different brands of camera when you're ready to upgrade. On the other hand if you get one that's not a standard, you'll forever have to buy the same brand of camera or give up whatever you've invested in the memory cards you bought.

I hope that helps a little.

Do motorola V3s (blue) have memory cards to store things like music and pictures?

I have ordered from ebay a blue motorola V3. It hasn't arrived yet, and after i ordered it i kept reading it is one of the worst phones for memory. I have looked on the internet and i havent found out if it has one or not. Can someone with a blue one please tell me if it does. And can you tell me if it is a good phone to have or not. Does it have good features like a video camera and mp3 player etc. I hope im not disapointed!

Do motorola V3s (blue) have memory cards to store things like music and pictures?
They don't come with the memory cards, but there is a slot for them!

A memory card is about $25 and fits in a slot in the bottom side behind the battery.

It's a fair phone. Slow to start up, but not bad. up to 15 second video capabilities, photos, voice activation and speaker phone are great features.

Blue tooth makes it completely hands free.

What is a "USB Card Reader"? I know they deal with memory cards... information, please?

Do these take place of a computer when there isn't one around to hold pictures and then delete from the camera? I'm going on a trip to France, and this came with my memory card for my camera. (8GB) Is this something to where I can use to store the photos that I've already taken and then later put them on my computer for real storage, and then can I delete them from my camera once they'reon this thing? Explain plaese.

What is a "USB Card Reader"? I know they deal with memory cards... information, please?
A usb card reader

is just a internal (inside) or external (outside) device that connects to your computer by a cable, more than likely a usb cable, which connects to your usb port on the computer!

All it really does is provide you with a place to put in your memory card so you can view whatever is on your card on your computer!

And once you see it on your computer, you can copy it to your computer, delete it from your card, or do whatever manipulation to the files that you want.

Thats mainly what its used for just to allow your computer to see whats on your memory card.
Reply:The memory card reader is an interface to allow you to connect your memory card to your computer for downloading the pictures from the memory card to the computer or visa versa. You can also use the card reader to hold the memory card and upload pictures and music to the data card for use in other devices. The card reader does not automatically delete the pictures from the data card, you have to delete them either from instructions from the computer or once you put the card back into your camera. My Sony uses a memory stick, I use one so I can download the pictures to my computer so I can edit, print, copy to cd, or even delete unwanted pictures. Here is an example of a USB card reader: http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/...

Is there a way to increase a memory cards memory?

A 1gb psp memory card

Is there a way to increase a memory cards memory?
No, all storage has limits, just get another one.
Reply:Similar to a hard-disk your memory card has a specific amount of free space. This space can't be increased except by adding another memory card or replacing the one you have with a one that has more memory.
Reply:These are all stupid ideas. The normal way to decrease the usage of a disk is to compress the files on it. You could do this by sending the files to a .zip folder.
Reply:Yes but you must buy anotherone to do so.....
Reply:Put it on a fish diet.

How many types of ps2 memory cards are there? Is there such a thing as a 64 MB PS2 Memory Card or not?

There are both third-party and first-party memory cards. The PS2 is designed to use 8mb memory cards, as the official memory cards only come in that size. Third party memory cards do come in larger sizes up to 64mb, but they are very prone to breaking and data corruption. Most game saves are rather small and there is really not a reason to get a 64 mb memory card. I only have 2 memory cards between my 30+ games, so just stick with the official sony memory cards an you will be fine.

How many types of ps2 memory cards are there? Is there such a thing as a 64 MB PS2 Memory Card or not?
There are unofficial, third-party developed memory cards with greater than 8MB. Take a look here: http://www.play.com/Product.aspx?r=PS2%26amp;t...

...for a 64 MB card. Or look here: http://www.dvd.co.uk/GHw/Max-Drive-128MB...

This takes advantage of USB pen drive technology. And neither of these items are especially expensive.

However, these products aren't endorsed by Sony, so you may want to keep those especially precious saves on your official memory card.

How come kingston SD memory cards are cheaper than other card brands?

are they not that good in performance. they have the 2gb ones cheap on amazon for $14.99.

How come kingston SD memory cards are cheaper than other card brands?
The price on all flash memory is dropping like a rock. That means that the field is very competitive not that the product is bad. I would buy the Kingston just because the price is so low and it is a name brand. If it was generic I wouldn't touch it.
Reply:There are only like six flash card makers of which Toshiba (San Disk), Samsung and Lexar are the most popular

Toshia sits on Lexars board and Lexar sits on Toshiba's board and they are currently suing each other for technology violations!

I think Kingston might be a Lexar made card.
Reply:The low priced Kingston's aren't as fast. This may or may not make a difference, depending on your camera.

it will probably be fine. In the old days they were a bit less compatible than the Sandisks and Lexars, but I think that they've gotten better. They're just not on the cutting edge of the technology.

Frankly- it's amazing that you can buy 2Gb of memory for $15.

Very soon, laptops will be coming without hard drives.

I've a latitude d620 w/2 memory cards slots 1has 1GB but the other I install the memory it does not work why?
Many motherboards are tenacious when it comes to memory. First, it is usually best to have dual channel RAM. Secondly, it is best to have the same brand. Third, they should have the same speed (if you have DDR 800 and DDR 667 they 800 will default to the lower speeds) in most cases.

We need to know more about the memory.

Secure Digital memory cards. What´s the difference between High speed, Ultra II etc.?

I mean technical data of read %26amp; write speed. Which to choose for digital camera use ( 5 Mpixel CCD)

Secure Digital memory cards. What´s the difference between High speed, Ultra II etc.?
Faster cards will shorten the time needed to write the image file onto the card. However, the card is not the only factor. The speed at which the camera can process the images that you take, and the speed that it can write to the card are also factors. For most point-n-shoot digital cameras, the speed of the card is not the limited factor because the camera is slowed down by the image processing or is already writing as fast as it can, so a faster card won't help. You should either try it out at a store to see which is faster or read reviews.

Here is comprehensive information on the subject:

http://www.robgalbraith.com/bins/multi_p...
Reply:Faster cards are not so much faster in writing, this speed is mainly decided by your camera. The difference between the cards is made, when you transfer data (pictures) from your camera to your computer.
Reply:For digital camera I would say the faster the better. It is especially important if you use large size format. e.g. RAW and TIFF. For the High Speed, Ultra 2. Those are only some fancy name for SD card manufacturers to distinguish the product lines between normal speed and high speed. Just a reminder, when u need high speed both of your card and camera have to support the speed. The reason I am saying this because some OLD camera can't support the high speed of high speed card. Hopefully that answer your question.

What you can do is use a transfer system like Amazing Box the new system Wal-mart sells that just has a card reader w/out a box. You can then download Disney or any other design and place it on the memory card that comes with the transfer systems. The card then goes into your machine. What is nice about this is the card is flash memory re-writeable and you can use/re-use it.

gamestop.

they offer a 100 dollar discount for two contollers a system and a memory card i believe.

6 games at 3 bucks a piece and 5 bucks for the memory card and id say you would probably get around $125 for the whole package. A $475 PS3 sounds nice.

Reply:If you take it to a store and trade it in, you won't get what you want for it...

Sell it on Ebay, because that way it is worth as much as people are willing to pay for it. If there are say 5 people who want the combo of game titles with the system, they will compete and pay alot more than you would get in any store.

If you have the newer "slim" ps2 and dual-shock controllers and 2 8mb mem cards, i'd say you could get more than $100 on ebay, maybe $125-$150+

Please give proper genuine answers, I know what they look like and where they work, just tell me their working principle...

How do memory cards work?
I'm not quite sure what you mean. Memory cards is in RAM or GPU's? RAM (random access memory) is what programs use to run them. Usually, the more RAM, the better your computer runs and the programs have more space to be able to run the program at it's fullest. Games require more RAM to run.

For full info on GPU's visit:

and read all 3 articles in the series. It will give you a better understanding of computing; more than i could explain.

How much is a gamecube, a controller, 2 memory cards, and 18 games worth now? It also has all the cords.?

i got some old games nd some new games. mostly sports games too. PLEASE HELP i wanna know soooo bad

How much is a gamecube, a controller, 2 memory cards, and 18 games worth now? It also has all the cords.?
probably about $120 i work at a gamestop and thats the deal i would give you
Reply:try selling it on ebay i know you can buy a used gamecube now for like $68 at target but that is only the console i would say maybe $150 and thats if the games you have are popular games. If not you can seel it to gamestop the buy used consoles and games from you , you can maybe trade in those games for other games for a psp2 or xbox if you want
Reply:$105. Not worth much these days
Reply:You can do a search on e bay - probably easiest to do a search of "completed auctions" that will tell you what they've been selling for lately.
Reply:These days, Xbox's and Gamecubes are pretty outdated, but i thing a gamecube is worth 'bout, maybe $120

How to install memory cards to the compuetres?

I want to increase the memory ram in my computer

How to install memory cards to the compuetres?
Then READ THE MANUAL!
Reply:take off the case for the comp. get the ram. shove it in the drive. it's easy, but check wheter it needs one or two.
Reply:go to www.buymemory.com
Reply:look if u'r ancien memory card is DDR or SDR

then its frequency (a number with KHz or Mhz)

the new one must synchronize with it
Reply:Yea, its pretty simple. The dimms are usually (depending on ram) are longer/shorter on one side and can only be installed one way.

Take off your side panel of you computer and look at the RAM in there now, youll get a better idea of what you need and how to install it. There should be two clips to clamp them in place.

Are the SD and MMC memory cards interchangable?

Our camera uses SD (secure digital) memory cards but was wondering if the MMC card will also work.

I've seen laptops that have only one slot with "SD/MMC" by the slot.....meaning to me that both memory cards (SD and MMC) will fit in the same slot.

Are the SD and MMC memory cards interchangable?
Yes and no...this link has a wealth of info.

Is it ok for me to use two RAM cards with different memory capacities on my motherboard?

My motherboard specs are

* Four 184-pin DDR DIMM sockets

* Up to 4GB memory

* PC3200/PC2700/PC2100

* Unbuffered non-ECC DDR DIMMS

Right now I have 512MB. If I get a 1GB RAM card can I use both at the same time? My Computer Supplier says we cannot do that.

Is it ok for me to use two RAM cards with different memory capacities on my motherboard?
Yes it is absolutely fine to have 2 RAM cards with different memory capacities... but make sure that they have SAME FREQUENCY of operation... otherwise it will slow down your computers processing.
Reply:Yes you can use, but be careful in which frequency the two rams are operating.if the frequency varies the computer wont work properly
Reply:Lot of good ans. here, sounds like you people know more then me. My advice on memory is to install the largest one in the first slot and the smaller one next to it.
Reply:yes. but try to get the same bus speed.
Reply:yes but your pc will operate at the slowest ram speed
Reply:ya you can use them, but i read some wehere that if you have to different sizes of ram in you comptuer, it will run at the spped of the smaller ram but windows will add up their sizes and show you that its combined like in you case it will show your ram size at 1.5gb or 1536mb.but will actually run at 512 mb.
Reply:what kind of motherboard is it. and is the RAM you have spitl into two 256 sticks. check the board specs at the manufactures site, soem boards dont handle it well. I would trust my supplier and buy another 512 stick if you only have one right now.

Can i view the stuff thats on my ps2 memory cards on my pc?

i need to delet some stuff off my memory card so i can save resident evil outbreak on it. can i delete stuff from the memory card on my computer?

Can i view the stuff thats on my ps2 memory cards on my pc?
If you get the adapter for PS3 [its about 15$] it allows you to access it through the USB port and delete and insert game saves.
Reply:If you want to view the files that are on your ps2 memory card you will need action replay and make sure it comes with a USB drive. Then insert Action Replay into your PS2 and load the 'MAX MEMORY' option, from there you will be able to copy your memory files onto the USB drive. When it is done copying, insert the USB drive into your computer. And you will see your memory card files, from there you can backup your memory card files onto your computer.
Reply:maybe, but you'd have to buy an adapter, try the browser again, turning it on without a game in it and navigating through, deleting what you don't need

What's the deal with my memory cards?

I have a w810i Sony Ericsson walkman phone that came with a 512 MB memory card, upon which I managed to store roughly 240 songs.

Recently I bought a 1GB memory card for the same phone, of the same brand... but it's only letting me store 215 songs.

Should it not let me store around 500 songs, seeing as it's twice the size?

If so, how can I get it to work??

I NEED MY MUSIC!

What's the deal with my memory cards?
Hi

There are a few issues with memory cards, any that you use for mobile phones should be formatted first in the phone, this will copy files to it for you and any directories the phone needs, secondly some phone partition the card for different thing, like voice recorder, photo etc, so best check any settings to ensure they are OK, also highly recommended is that you buy a high speed version, there only a few quid dearer, but some phones don't like some brands of card.. eg i have a 6210, work well with a viking 64MB mmc, stick a 128 unbranded card it. it wont see it, stick a 256 high speed samsung in, works fine... you get my drift.

hope this helps a little.....
Reply:It depends how big the music files are.

You could try formatting the card, I don't see why it would be doing this to you unless it's full up. Good luck though, send me a message if you still can't find out what's going wrong.

Are off brand memory cards for a digital camera as good as the more expensive brand card?

I'd stick with the majors. Sometimes off brand cards don't play as well with all devices. Sometimes they work, other times they work but not at full speed.

Think about how much money you're really saving ($10?) and if it's really worth it.

SanDisk, Lexar, Kingston, Viking

Are off brand memory cards for a digital camera as good as the more expensive brand card?
i would only buy Kingston or SanDisk...anything else may fail or not be tested with your camera.
Reply:They store pictures and all, but the best brand names carry a lifetime warranty. They also come with image recovery software. They are also more "substantial feeling" in your hands. The contacts appear to be heavier and are better isolated to keep from bending the contacts inside your camera.

In my opinion, memory is so cheap these days that it just makes sense to buy the brand name and know for sure what you are getting.
Reply:i use either lexar, kingston, sandisk, fuji or panasonic for sd card
Reply:Yes! I bought a Kingston 512 card from amazon for around $8.00 and it works fabulous!!! I highly recommend.
Reply:this is a mixed idea, some are excellent deals while some won't work the first time you try them, so try to research the offbrands before purchasing.
Reply:i've used brand and off-brand memory cards. i've seen no difference in performance. you just don't have that "prestige" feeling with a cheap off- brand card in your name brand camera.............if that makes any difference to you

Do memory cards for playstation 2 work on the playstation 3?

yes, however, you need a memory card adaptor.

What are the wii memory cards good for? If I'm getting a Wii do I need one? Can it connect to computers? How?

The Wii does not actually have memory cards. It uses SD cards as storage. You can view pictures on your Wii from your SD card. You can also put music on your SD card and listen to it in some games like Excite Truck. You can use the SD card to backup your game save files and any downloaded virtual console games. Any standard SD card will be compatible with the Wii.

The Wii does not connect with computers, it has no networking capability. The Wii does connect to the Internet through wireless. You don't need an SD card to use the Wii or save games. You can take the Wii out of the box and play everything perfectly fine. It has built in storage.

What are the wii memory cards good for? If I'm getting a Wii do I need one? Can it connect to computers? How?
If you get a Wii, you do not need a memory card. Games save on the internal flash memory. As far as I know, there isn't anyway to connect the cards to a computer... like if you want to save game saves to the card and then store the saves on your computer... but I don't have a SD card reader for my computer so I don't know for sure. One cool feature of the Wii though is that if you have a digital camera that uses an SD card, you can get the pictures off of it and send them to your Wii friends... but hey, if you want to do that, you probably already have a SD card for your camera. I'm not really sure what different kinds of SD cards are out there, but if it looks like it will fit in the slot, then it will probably work. You can use the ones Nintendo makes, but Nintendo was nice enough to allow the Wii to use most SD cards, and if your a technophile, you probably have a few of those lying around anyhow.

How much can I sell my gamecube, 27 games, 2 memory cards, and 4 controllers for?

probably a $100-$150 on ebay. If you sell it in a game store...probably $50 bucks or so.

How much can I sell my gamecube, 27 games, 2 memory cards, and 4 controllers for?
i dont know go on craigslist.com find state and county and post $400 OBO
Reply:Idk prolly not very much because they dont make games for it any more. same problem i had with my xbox 2 years ago. BUt i bet if its going to the right buyer depending on the games anywhere between $50 and $100 bucks!!!
Reply:I did almost the excat same deal and got somewhere around $78 store credict to game stop.
Reply:You'll probably have a hard time getting any significant money for your gamecube or your memory cards. However I'd say you've got better chances of making money off of the games and the controllers. Here's why:

Nintendo gamers aren't playing the Gamecube anymore, they're playing the Wii. But the Wii is backwards-compatible with all Gamecube games, so there may very well be some dedicated gamers who are anxious to play your Gamecube games on their Wii.

As for the controllers: Super Smash Bros. Brawl just came out for the Wii on Sunday. The interesting thing about SSBB is that it is fully compatible with the Gamecube controller...in fact, many gamers, myself included, prefer using the Gamecube controller over the Wii controllers. Also, if people want to play your Gamecube games, they may find they are in need of Gamecube controllers.

I have no idea what kind of prices you should try to sell these things for, but I'd recommend checking out the cost of used Gamecube stuff at stores like Gamestop, and maybe the popular prices on E-bay, too.

What is the best way to store photos (besides memory cards) when traveling? Ipod camera connector won't work.

It depends how much you are wanting to spend. I always take my laptop with me, wherever I go. You take your USB cable or memory card and you basically have unlimited storage for your pictures.

Otherwise, you can buy one of those devices that are specifically used for storing photos. You can look with BH Photo or Amazon, really most online stores, for these. They are a little smaller for traveling, so if you need to take it with you, this might be a better choice.

Hope this helps!

What is the best way to store photos (besides memory cards) when traveling? Ipod camera connector won't work.
Actually, get a large memory memory card and you do not have to download when you travel, even for a week of shooting! No extra accessory required.
Reply:Why would you want to store them on anything besides a memory card?
Reply:You can just keep uploading your pics to something like Photobucket throughout your trip. Computers are everywhere now.

SDHC memory cards work in Samsung a737 mobile phone?

Just oredered a Samsung SGH A737 and the data cable. When going from 1gb memory cards to the 2 gb memory cards (I'm really wanting the 8gb), the memory takes on this "SDHC" name which ensues a disclaimer that not all devices accepting an microSD, will accept microSDHC.

My question here, is if anyone knows if that SDHC will work in my new phone.

Should I waist my money on buying a silver nintendo gamecube with 3 controllers and two memory cards?

Is it worth buing?

Should I waist my money on buying a silver nintendo gamecube with 3 controllers and two memory cards?
no. buy a Wii. you'll have to save a little more and wait until after Christmas most likely(unless you want to order a Wii bundle off Gamestop.com, which are more expensive, but worth it if you like the games it comes with), but the Wii plays ALL the Gamecube games anyway.
Reply:I would buy a newer game system, the Gamecube is falling out of favor.
Reply:their out of style get a wii or PlayStation3
Reply:Well it would be if it had a few games along with it but because this system is like 10 years old bigger things will be coming out.. If I were you I would save up for a couple more months and buy an Xbox 360 or Playstation 3... They are newer and so much more worth the money...
Reply:well, if you want to but I say no
Reply:If you think that it is wasting your money dont buy it but i would buy a newer console because there are not alot of shops that sell gamecube games
Reply:wa do u think ???? i would say no so u would get 2 memory cards and controllers and all but do u kno any games coming out for gamecube ???? i dont think so !!!! the gamecube is dead now, no more games and suky graphicsw!!! if u could wait for a few months and save the money for a ps3, then its great now thats worth buying, but if u cant wait that long then save the money for sbox 360 but if u cant wait that long then nintendo wii and well if u cant wait taht long either then a ps2 is the best console out there !!!! i even have one!!!! but i would suggest u wait a couple months and save up sum money for a ps3 or xbox 360!!!!!

glad i could help but think twice before u buy a game system its a very important decision!!!

good luck

later!!!!
Reply:buy wii
Reply:Not if you think it would be a waste. You already asked if you should "waste" your money. Guess you answered your own question.
Reply:if u want to collect them...since there aren't many of them around anymore....but if u decline that...then get a Wii....its awesome...so I heard...that is.

have fun deciding.
Reply:No, but you could try wasting it.
