Are all SD digital camera memory cards the same size?

I have an old digital camera, and it uses bigger cards. The new camera I bought has the same size cards as the digital video camaera I have... are all cameras using these newer smaller cards now? I'm trying to buy some additional cards on ebay but I don't want to accidentally buy the wrong size!

Are all SD digital camera memory cards the same size?
There are a lot of different types of memory cards out there. SD memory cards are all the same size. If your camera uses a different size, then it is not an SD card.

If your camera says that it uses SD memory, then you are safe to buy more. Just be careful that it is "SD" and not some other kind of memory card.
Reply:SD cards are all the same size in length and width, but the memory size is the thing that varies greatly. so, no worries with your search. vote me best answer! :)
Reply:The SD (secure digital) card used in kodaks and hp cameras right now are all the same size. Don't get confused with the mini SD card for cell phones... Older cameras used MMC (MultiMedia) cards. Other cards XD, Memory stick, smart media, and compact flash.
