What's the difference between memory cards and memory sticks for digital cameras?
Memory cards are just the universal term
for SD cards, CF cards, etc
... memory sticks...is another term of memory
cards coin by sony...
The most popular memory cards are SD for
normal consumer cameras....
I suggest u get the SD cards instead of the Memory
Sticks by sony as its much more expensive and it can
only be used with sony products...
SD cards are more universally used nowdays.
Reply:A memory stick is Sony's proprietary name for a memory card. They're pretty much the same in all other aspects, except for size and shape.
