This is a camera I use at work and cannot get it to format memory cards and I am only able to take 5 pics before it is full.... Definatly not like my 10D!!! please help!!!
How do you format memory cards on a Fuji finepix S7000?
Well, I looked it up...and you should be able to Format the card in the SETUP menu of the camera...so I don't know why you are having a problem.
As well as using the highest quality jpeg setting, the camera can also shoot in RAW (however, BOTH these options produce huge 12MB files due to interpolation) so check to see what file size you have selected in the menu. If your memory card only has a small capacity, then that could be a reason why you can only take 5 pics.
Just buy a larger memory card (512MB or more).
According to Megapixel.net, to get the best photo quality (one that is not interpolated), you should select NORMAL picture quality, which is 6 MB in size.
Good luck...and if all else fails, ditch the Fuji and buy a Canon...lol
