4GB SD memory cards, Is cheaper better than its dearer Equivalent, and do they work at the same speed?

You see advertisements for cheap Sd cards and reviews on these some saying they are great and on a par with the dearer Sd cards. is this the case ? some people talk about the speed of them and some about the quality of the photos. so what really it the difference between them all ?

They are all pretty similar. Photo quality is the same, capacity will be the same. The only difference if any is speed. The higher ends one would usually be faster, but unless you are doing multiple shots in quick succession (at a high resolution), the cheap SD cards will be fine.
