SD Memory Cards - are they interchangeable ? If you buy one for a camera, can you use it to record mp2 or mp3?

I've got a new DAB radio, which takes SD Memory cards on which I can record programmes. Is this the same type of card I use in my digital camera ? If so, once I have used a card for pictures, can I then insert it into the radio and overwrite it with music ? And vice versa ?

This is called a Secure Digital card, and is interchangeable betwen any of thousands of devices that use SD cards. However, if you store music on it, you may not be able to listen to it on things like cameras, depending on your equipment, etc...

Reply:I think for some DAB radios you may have to reformat the memory card to make sure it's clear as files other than the ones it's able to play may confuse it (and vice versa with the camera)
Reply:If your talking about a Sandisk memory card then yes u can use it for just about anything.
