Memory Cards?

Are all SD memory cards the same size-like the same size as far as fitting in a camera-not size as in memory

Memory Cards?
Yes, for it to be an SD (secure digital) card, it must have the common form factor.

Even SDHC cards share the same form factor, but your device has to support them in order to use them.

Micro-SD and Mini-SD cards are a different size, but those have Micro and Mini in the name, so that should be a clue it is smaller than regular SD card (but most come with an adapter that lets you use it in an secure digital device).
Reply:There are SD and SDHC cards which are the same physical size, BUT just because something uses the SD format does not mean it will use the SDHC. Your camera has to say that it will use the SDHC format, which is basicly the SD High Capacity format that allows memory sizes from 4 gigs on up. I think SD only goes to 2 gigs.

There is also a Mini SD that is smaller and a Micro SD that is smaller still. So yes, there are different sizes to the SD format.

So, to recap..

SD format (regular and SDHC)- small

Mini SD- smaller

Micro SD-smallest (freakin tiny actually)

Hope this helps.
Reply:Good question! At first I was going to say yes, however I am now going to say no.....

When SD cards first came out there was only one size. This is the size digital cameras use. Then pda's and phones needed memory and smaller physical sized cards were needed. Because of this, they developed the mini SD and the micro SD. So yes, there are different sized SD cards.

Reply:all the SD cards are the same size , but you can put an adapter to fit in any card reader or camera that reads cards
