I want to buy the Olympus Stylus 850 and am wondering if my old memory card will be compatible. It is a 2 GB SanDisk "Ultra II"

If your old card is a xD card then yes. If it is a SD memory card then no.
Only Olympus and some Fujifilm cameras use xD cards ... except for Sony all other P%26amp;S cameras use SD memory cards.
